2047 Apologue is a conceptual theatre production directed by Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers) that explores the relationship between humanity and technology by combining traditional Chinese folk arts and performances with modern technology.

We built a moving three dimensional volume of animated light, which was accompanied by the music of master sheng player Wu Tong and electronic music producer Kangding Ray. 

The production premiered at the National Centre of the Performing Arts in Beijing and will be touring in different cities in China.
